Reset or Repeat

Eleven fifty-nine. Glitter on the floor like evidence. Tell me, are we resetting?

Or just repainting the same ruin? Another year in a snow globe spin.

Same old prayers with a different grin. I wrote a new me on

a cigarette, then watched it burn like a silhouette. Midnight shining cheap

champagne. Paper crowns and paper pain. I'm standing where the skyline splits

between my promise and my habits. If I light the fuse, will I change?

Or just explode the same? Reset or repeat? Tell me who we are.
