Revelation: Unveiling Jesus Christ

The word “revelation” comes from the Greek word apokalupsis – which doesn’t mean catastrophe

or violent upheaval. It means disclosure, unveiling, uncovering or revealing something hidden.

Verse 3 of chapter 1 says “Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this

prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.”

That means a blessing just for reading it?... Jesus “signified” the things in the book by his angel

unto his servant John. The word “signify” means to reveal through signs.

James and his younger brother John were 2 of the 12 disciples of Jesus. James was killed

by King Herod. Peter, James, and John shared things with Jesus the other disciples
