Riot in My Head

My mind's a courtroom, every thought on trial. Judge is my

fear, been sentencing me awhile. Memories testify, trauma on the

stand. Every what if gripping tight in my hand. I smile in

public but inside I collapse. Laughing in photos when my heart gets attacked.

I replay mistakes like they are brand new sins. Trying to forgive myself but the

doubt breaks in. They say be strong, I been flexing my pain.

Building walls out of pride wearing shackles like chains. I'm tired of fighting a war
