River of Truth

. They draped themselves in scripture like a robe of borrowed light.

Quoting verses out of season to baptize their appetite. They carve a cross from hatred,

call the carving faith. While love, the creed they claim to own,

lies bound beneath their rage. Oh, the truth is

like a river, flowing wild and free. It can't be tamed by human

hands who seek to bend the knee. With every heart that's broken,

with every tear that's shed, the Gospel speaks of mercy

where the hungry souls are fed. They preach of chosen people by choosing skin
