We should have had unbreakable glass 2,000 years ago. But a Roman Emperor chose execution
over progress. An inventor once brought a bowl to Emperor Tiberius and threw it on
the floor. It didn’t shatter—it just dented. He took a hammer, hit the dent - and
as if by magic, the glass was perfect again. Tiberius asked one question: 'Does
anyone else know this secret?' When the man said no.... that sealed his
fate. Tiberius ordered his head to be cut off. Unbreakable glass
would otherwise become more valuable than gold. To save his economy, he had to kill the
