Rumer Willis on Bruce's Dementia Journey

Rumer Willis says her dad Bruce Willis is “doing OK” for someone living with frontotemporal dementia,

but admits it’s still very difficult. She says she’s grateful she can still hug him and believes

he still feels the love, even if he doesn’t always recognize her.

Rumer added that there’s still “a spark” of the dad she remembers, which means a lot

to her. Bruce’s family revealed his aphasia diagnosis in 2022 and later confirmed FTD,

and he now lives in a separate home for round-the-clock care. The whole family

continues to visit him often, including his young grandchildren.
