Saying No to Everything

My therapist told me I need to set boundaries with people. So I started saying

no to everything. My boss asked if I could work late. No. My mom asked if I loved her.

No. The waiter asked if I wanted a refill. No. My girlfriend asked if we were still together.

No. Turns out I misunderstood the assignment. Now I'm single, unemployed,

and my mom won't return my calls. But hey, at least I have excellent boundaries.

My therapist is so proud. She also fired me as a client.
