Students spend roughly fifteen thousand hours in classrooms by the time they graduate high school.

or manage money combined. Yet schools rarely teach practical life skills like
filing taxes or negotiating salaries. The system was designed during the industrial revolution to create
factory workers who could follow instructions and work in shifts. Today we're preparing
kids for jobs that don't even exist yet using a model from eighteen seventy. The mismatch is
wild when you think about it.
