Scott's Tragic Race to the South Pole

British explorer Robert Falcon Scott finally arrived at the bottom of the world after

months of brutal Antarctic conditions. But instead of triumph, he discovered the Norwegian flag already

planted by rival explorer Roald Amundsen. The crushing defeat was just the beginning of the nightmare.
