Senate Alleges Media Attacks on Matawalle

Mr President of the Senate, distinguished colleagues, I rise to contribute to the issues raised

on this hallowed chamber concerning the sponsored media attacks on Dr. Bello Matawalle,

the Honourable Minister of State for Defence. Credible intelligence as gathered by this Senate's Committee

on intelligence and national security has shown that huge sums of dollars were released from

Zamfara state Government house 2months ago to various groups to sustain media attacks on Dr.Matawalle

who is seen by the opposition as a die-hard lieutenants of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and

a general of the Renewed Hope Agenda, thereby giving the sleepless nights. I will advise that

Dauda Lawal should focus on governance to bring dividends of democracy to the people of Zamfara
