and add something they can picture. Start with animals or objects kids love.

and shakes his tail, leaves footprints like a giant snail. Notice the pattern? Simple words,

clear images, perfect rhyme. Now add action or emotion kids relate to.

The moon stayed up past bedtime too, playing hide and seek with you.

It yawned so big the stars fell out, that's what nighttime is about. The secret is rhythm

you can clap to and endings that make them smile. Avoid big words or complex ideas.
