Slovak Family Visits and Holidays

Today, I would like to talk about Slovak families, how they visit their

relatives and how they spend holidays together. In Slovakia, family is very important.

Most Slovak families are not very big. Usually, families have parents and one or two ch-childrens.

Even though families are smaller today, people are still close to their relatives, especially grandparents.

Visiting relatives is very common in Slovakia. Families often visit grandparents on

wee-weekends or during holidays. When families meet, they spend time together and talk

about everyday things like school, work, and family life. They usually sit

at the table, drink coffee or tea, and eat homemade food.
