This glass is basically a real-life filter for your windows. It’s called electrochromic glass,
and it tints on command. Inside, there are five super-thin ceramic layers.
Applying a tiny electrical charge makes the glass darken, blocking out harsh
sunlight and heat. Reverse the charge, and it goes completely clear. The system is smart,
too. It tracks the sun, so in the morning, your east-facing windows darken to
stop the glare. At midday, it tints to keep the building cool, saving you money
on AC. And the wildest part? It uses less power than your Wi-Fi
router to run an entire wall. This is the future of building design. Follow me for more.
