You literally cannot keep a horse in your bathtub in South Carolina. That is a real law,

but this state is famous for way more than just weird rules. It was actually

the first state to leave the Union, and the Civil War kicked off right here at Fort Sumter.

The landscape is wild, stretching from the Blue Ridge Mountains all the way down

to Atlantic beaches. You can even explore Congaree National Park, which hides the

tallest trees in the eastern US. Between the Gullah Geechee culture and the endless

sweet tea, South Carolina brings serious main character energy.
