Speaking It Right

I've been learning that the tongue got weight. Every word a seed,

every thought a gate. What I say in the dark shows up in

the day. So I choose my language like it's sacred space. I used to

talk myself out of becoming whole. Let fear narrate what my future holds.

But the mirror started answering back. Every sentence shaping who I am. If the mind

is listening, and the body believes, then the mouth is the architect

of everything I see. I speak it alive. I call it

by name. I don't say what I fear. I say what I claim.
