identify your true five-second moment of transformation. Now, where to actually
start your story to make that moment powerful. Dicks' rule: your story should begin
at the opposite of where it ends. If your five-second moment is realizing you love someone,
start when you're convinced you don't. If your five-second moment is understanding you're capable,
start when you feel completely inadequate. If your five-second moment is accepting death,
start when you're terrified of it. The beginning must establish the clearest possible contrast
