Stephen’s Vision and Martyrdom

Oh. Full of grace, full of power, signs and wonders in that hour.

Chosen to serve, but called to speak. Wisdom they could not defeat.

They stirred the crowd, they twisted words. False witnesses, falsely heard.

Dragged him in before the throne, but Stephen stood not alone. They fixed their

eyes to judge his case. But they saw the glow upon his face.

I see the heavens open wide. The son of man at God's right side.

You gnash your teeth, you raise your stones, but Christ is

standing on the throne. I see the glory you deny. Jesus reigns though
