Steps to My Own Grave

My sleep tracker logged three thousand steps last night. I was asleep the entire time.

At first I thought it was a glitch, but the GPS showed a route. From my bed,

down the street, to the old cemetery. Every single night, same path. I started locking

my door. Didn't matter. Still logged the steps. Then I noticed the

mud. Caked on my feet every morning. I checked the cemetery. Found fresh footprints

leading to one grave. My name was on the headstone. Died last week. I'm still walking

there. Every night. Getting closer to staying.
