Strange Lobby Encounters

So here’s the whole situation. I’d been sitting in the lobby for a long time because

I couldn’t go into my room, and the common room was basically a “do not enter” zone

thanks to Amelia and Sam. So I parked myself in the lobby and just tried to mind

my business. While I was out there, I heard this incredibly strange conversation.

There was this kid I recognized from robotics competitions in Seattle, and he was talking

to someone about how he’s trying to start a company to “solve autism” with some new chemical

he thinks he came up with. Apparently no professor at WPI wanted to help him,

so his plan was to sell it to MIT as some kind of dramatic revenge and then stage protests
