So I saw this video while scrolling, and it said Stranger Things is actually based on something

real. Not the monsters or the Upside Down… but the lab. Back in the Cold

War, the U.S. government ran a secret program called MKUltra.

Most people didn’t even know it existed until years later. They were testing how far they could

push the human mind. Stuff like isolation rooms, sensory deprivation, drugs,

and trying to control thoughts and memory. Some people were taken in without knowing what they
