Study Smarter: Use Sound Cues

STOP studying like this — it’s probably why your grades are low. These study habits

helped me get straight A’s in AP classes and go to Yale. If you’re rereading notes,

highlighting everything, or making endless flashcards… that’s the problem. You’re not bad at

studying. You’re just studying the wrong way for your brain. Most students study

like visual learners. But not everyone learns that way. For me, sound mattered more

than visuals. So I studied out loud — repeating answers, turning facts into

short phrases, saying them over and over until they stuck. One thing that changed

everything: I used the same song or playlist every time I studied a specific topic.
