Surviving a Car Submersion

If your car ever plunges into water, you have about sixty seconds before it sinks completely.

Here's what most people get wrong. Do not try to open the door immediately. The water pressure

makes it impossible. Instead, roll down the window or use your headrest metal rod to shatter

it at the corner. Once water fills halfway inside, the pressure equalizes and you can push

the door open. This trick comes from Navy SEAL training. They teach soldiers to stay calm and
