Surviving Without Them

I was kicked out of the house after my father died. My mother-in-law didn’t want me there

anymore. I had nowhere to go. I slept hungry, tired,

and ashamed. Every day was a test, and most days I failed.

Life kept pushing me down when I was already on the ground. But I kept going. I worked small jobs,

long hours, and silent nights. I suffered first… then I learned… then I grew.

It took years, but I finally built something with my own hands. One day,

they needed help. I remembered being thrown out when I needed them most. I remembered the

cold, the hunger, the loneliness. I didn’t help. I didn’t turn back.
