Swimming Upstream to Grow

In a wide river lived a young fish named Lumo. He always swam where the water pushed

him—it was easy and safe. One day, Lumo noticed an old fish swimming

against the current. “Why make life harder?” Lumo asked. The old fish replied, “Because upstream

is where fresh water is born.” Curious, Lumo tried swimming upstream.

It was exhausting. Many times he wanted to give up. But slowly, his fins grew stronger,

and the water felt clearer. At the top, Lumo found clean springs and quiet

peace. He smiled and realized: “Growth begins when you stop drifting and start choosing

your direction.”
