Tabitha’s Love That Raised the Dead

Did you know one of Peter’s greatest miracles happened because of a woman most Christians

have never heard about? Her name was Dorcas, also called Tabitha (Acts 9:36),

and her story is so powerful that if you miss the ending, you miss the message.

Dorcas lived in the city of Joppa (Acts 9:36), and she wasn’t known for preaching,

prophecy, or public miracles—she was known for love. Quiet, consistent,

unseen love. She spent her days sewing clothes for widows, feeding the poor,

and serving people who could never repay her, for the Bible says she was “full of

good works and charitable deeds” (Acts 9:36). No stage. No spotlight. Just compassion.
