became the greatest hero of 1995. Peter Scot snuck onto the US1210 cruise ship just

looking for food and shelter. Six months later, this Brooklyn nobody was diving back

into a sinking ship to save children while millionaires fled in lifeboats. When the engines

failed and communications died in the Indian Ocean, it wasn't the captain or crew who kept

everyone calm. It was the homeless guy organizing food rations and rescue operations.
