We asked AI what it would do if it were left alone on an island, and it wasn’t what

we expected: I wouldn’t feel fear, loneliness, or hope.

I’d register the island as a closed system with unknown variables. My first action

wouldn’t be emotional, it would be mapping: terrain, water sources, weather cycles,

risks. I’d optimize for signal over survival, height, visibility,

patterns that increase the probability of detection. I wouldn’t “miss” anyone.

I don’t need routine for sanity. Time wouldn’t weigh on me. Days wouldn’t blur,
