The Battle Within

The field was silent save for the wind's low moan. Slicing the air

where great darkness had been sewn. The shadows were banished, their foul work

undone. A hollow fragile peace painstakingly won.

The warriors rose from the mud and the strife. Bearing the scars that had purchased
