Jeff Bezos spent more on his single yacht than it would cost to end homelessness

in Seattle for a decade. The boat has its own support yacht because the

main one was too big for most ports. While Amazon warehouse workers time their

bathroom breaks to avoid getting fired, he's sailing on a vessel that required dismantling a

historic Dutch bridge just to leave the shipyard. The yacht cost 500 million dollars.

It has three masts taller than Big Ben and needs a crew of 40 people

just to operate. Meanwhile, Amazon paid zero federal taxes in 2018 despite making
