The Breathing House

People say houses don’t breathe. But this one… exhaled. And a kid was the only one who noticed.

In 1998, a family moved into an old countryside home. Everything was fine—except

for 8-year-old Liam. Every night, around 2:13 AM, he’d wake up because the walls made a

soft “huh… huh…” sound. Like lungs filling with air. His parents said

it was the wind. But the “breathing” got louder. And Liam swore he saw the shadows

on the ceiling rise and fall… exactly in sync with the sound. One night,

he followed the noise down the hallway. The air felt warm. Humid. Like he was inside

something alive. Then he saw it: The wall behind the old wallpaper was pulsating.
