The Cage of Comfort

Yet we are often held back by our comforts. This is why we must cultivate mumukshutva,

the intense longing for liberation. It is the holy impatience. It is the realization that the comforts

of the cage do not compensate for the loss of the sky. It is the grit of the spiritual warrior.

When the desire for freedom becomes as urgent as the need for air, every obstacle becomes

a stepping stone. This is the hunger for truth that outweighs the hunger for comfort.
