beneath the beams. Hands grow tired, backs grow bent. The night returns, the night remains.

We work, we dream, we fight, we fall. Beneath the glow

we do not name. The castle watches from the cliff. It does not

know us all the same. Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh. They lifted me from broken ground.

They fed me words, they fed me time. They dressed me

well, they gave me tasks. They said my hunger was no

crime. I learned the steps, I learned the signs.
