The Core of Divine Love

Today, friends, we lit the candle of love. And love is the

most important topic there is because it is what God is. And so today I want to push past the,

the Hallmark card version of love to talk about what divine love is at its core.

What is divine love really? What is the love of God? By the tender mercy

of our God, the dawn from on high will break upon us to give light to those who

sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of

peace. This is the promise that is coming. This is what is entering into the

world. This is what incarnation is about, Disciples class. This is what Christmas
