Aristotle said the state exists not just for living, but for living well.
But examine bureaucracy: files move slower than glaciers. Citizens wait months for basic certificates.
The system, meant to serve us, has become a maze of red
tape and apathy. The problem isn't the system, it's us. We accept mediocrity
as normal. A farmer waited eight months for a land document; his crops failed.
He needed that paper for a loan. A bureaucrat helped him in two
days when media intervened. Two days versus eight months! Aristotle knew:
good governance is choosing excellence. Demand better, don't just accept what exists.
