The Debt We Still Owe: Love

This Christmas, beyond gifts and gatherings, there’s one thing we’re still meant

to “owe.” The Bible says - “Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing

debt to love one another…” — Romans 13:8 Christmas reminds us that God paid

our greatest debt through Jesus. He didn’t send a bill—He sent a Savior. In a season filled

with expenses, expectations, and emotions, Paul points us back to what truly matters:

love. The lights will come down, the food will be gone,

but love is the gift that never expires. When we choose patience with family,

kindness to the overlooked, and grace instead of resentment, we are living out
