The Flood Was the Test

“This movie only makes sense if you start from Ana.” Ana is an AI researcher, living after Earth

is destroyed by a global flood. Some humans survive in space, but there aren’t

enough of them to rebuild humanity. So they try to create artificial humans. But there’s a problem.

Logic-based AI keeps failing — it doesn’t value life, love, or sacrifice.

That’s when Ana creates the Emotion Engine. Her idea is simple but dangerous:

an artificial human must feel human emotions to protect humanity. Ana designs a simulation

— a flooded apartment — and creates a child, then bonds with it like a real mother.

As the flood rises, Ana is forced to choose: save herself… or save the child.
