The Forest’s Family Came Back

We thought killing it would save us but we just made everything worse. Last weekend me

and my boys decided to explore the old forest behind my neighborhood. The one everyone

says is cursed. We laughed it off because we didn't believe in that stuff.

But thirty minutes in we heard branches snapping behind us. Heavy breathing.

Something was following us. Then we saw it. This thing stood eight feet tall

with twisted limbs and eyes that glowed in the dark. Its jaw hung open revealing rows of

broken teeth. It charged at us without warning. We ran but Tommy tripped.

The creature grabbed his leg and started dragging him. We couldn't leave him.
