The Greedy Tortoise’s Fall

This story is about the Greedy Tortoise. Long ago, the birds were invited to a great feast

in the sky. Tortoise begged to go with them. The birds agreed, on one condition:

everyone must take a new name. Clever as always, Tortoise chose the name “All of You.”

When the food was ready, the host announced, “This food is for all of you.”

Tortoise smiled and ate everything, leaving nothing for the birds. Angry and hungry,

the birds took back their feathers and flew away, leaving Tortoise to fall from the

sky. He crashed onto rocks, and his shell broke into pieces.

That is why the tortoise’s shell is rough till today. Greed and selfishness always lead to shame
