The Haunting of Tillamook Rock Lighthouse

The Tillamook Rock Lighthouse sits abandoned on a jagged rock off the Oregon coast,

and locals refuse to talk about what really happened there. Built in 1881,

lighthouse keepers reported strange sounds within months of opening. They described voices

calling from empty rooms and footsteps echoing through the tower at night. The isolation drove

men mad, but something else was hunting them in that lighthouse. In 1957,

the Coast Guard finally abandoned it after the last keeper was found at the bottom of
