significant thefts in ancient history involving the hijacking of Alexander the Great’s body after
his death in 323 BC. After Alexander died in Babylon, his body was embalmed
and placed in an elaborate, gold-adorned, human-shaped sarcophagus. This sarcophagus
was part of a massive funeral carriage, often described as a miniature and mobile temple,
adorned with gold crowns, bells, and precious stones. The carriage was
pulled by 64 mules, each magnificently decorated, making the entire procession a grand
