The Hidden Basement Door

I found a door in my basement that wasn't there yesterday. I've lived in

this house for three years and I know every inch of it. But when I

went down to grab some old boxes there it was, a small wooden

door. Built into the concrete wall, barely four feet tall with rusted

hinges and no handle. I pressed my ear against it and heard breathing,

slow and steady like someone was sleeping. My rational brain said call someone
