The Hidden Scarab Gun in Halo 2

There’s a secret weapon in Halo 2 so powerful the devs hid it where players were never

supposed to reach. It’s called the Scarab Gun, and it fires the same devastating

beam as the giant Scarab walkers. Bungie placed it on top of a random bridge in the New

Mombasa level — way outside the playable area — assuming nobody could ever get there.

But players exploited a series of perfect vehicle jumps and AI triggers to reach it.

And when they did, they found a normal-looking plasma rifle that could obliterate entire maps with
