The Light

Maybe I thought you'd always be around. I never thought

I'd be living without you now. And they tell me time's a healer

and though the minutes pass by. It never stops this pain inside. 'Cause you really

were the light. The light that always shone on me. I guess at

times I couldn't see. How bright your light could really be.

I lost part of myself that day that you went away.

And I do my best, but I'm just getting through the days.

And they tell me I should move on, but each night I still cry.
