The Little Lamp's Big Light

In a quiet village, there lived a little oil lamp on a windowsill. Every night, it glowed softly,

helping travelers find their way through the dark road. The lamp was proud of its light,

but one evening, it heard the big street lights laughing. "You are so small," they said.

"Your light barely reaches the gate." The little lamp felt sad and thought, "Maybe I should

stop shining. I'm not important." So that night, it stayed off. A young boy walking

home got lost in the darkness. He tripped and sat down, scared and tired.

The little lamp saw him and remembered why it was made. Gathering its courage, it lit itself again.
