The Man in My Attic

I installed security cameras inside—just to feel safer. At first, everything looked

normal. Then I checked the footage from one night. Around 3 a.m.,

the camera caught movement in my hallway. A man. Barefoot. Moving slowly,

like he knew the house. I thought it had to be a glitch… until I found more

images. Photos automatically taken by the cameras. The same man… coming down from the attic.

I never heard him. Never saw him during the day. I moved out that week.

The landlord later told me the attic had been sealed for years. I still don’t know
