The Morning Interruption

The morning was a symphony of absolute peace, birds singing and the sun warming

the glass conservatory. I sat with my tea, admiring the ferns, when a tiny

uninvited visitor landed on the porcelain. A low, menacing hum began to vibrate through

the air, shattering the silence of the beautiful room. Suddenly,

a sharp pain snapped against my skin, as if a hot needle had

been driven deep. How dare you! Get away from me, you winged demon

of the morning, leave my house now! The chase was on!

I scrambled across the marble floor while the beast pursued me with fury.
