The Mystery of D.B. Cooper

November 24th, 1971. A man in a suit boards a plane from Portland to Seattle

— ticket name: Dan Cooper. Mid-flight, he calmly hands a note to a flight

attendant. It says he has a bomb. He demands $200,000 in cash and four

parachutes. The plane lands, the ransom is delivered… and Cooper lets the passengers go.

Then he orders the crew to take off again. Somewhere over the Washington wilderness…

he jumps. No body. No parachute. Just a few bills found years later.

So who was D.B. Cooper? A mastermind who vanished into legend — or a ghost lost

to the storm?
