tail. He never did. People remember the Monopoly Man having a monocle.

He doesn’t. Even Darth Vader never said, “Luke, I am your father.”

So why do millions remember the same wrong thing? Psychologists say it’s because our

brains fill gaps automatically. We remember patterns, not details. But here’s the weird

part. The same false memories appear in people who’ve never talked to each other.
