In 1997, scientists from the U.S. Navy recorded a strange sound in
the Pacific Ocean. It was so loud — it could be heard over 5,000 kilometers away.
They called it “The Bloop.” At first, they thought it was a massive underwater
creature… maybe something even bigger than a blue whale! 🐋
But no one ever found the source. The sound didn’t match any known sea animal or machine.
