The Mystery of the Flannan Isles Lighthouse

In December 1900, a relief ship arrived at the remote Flannan Isles lighthouse in Scotland.

The light, usually a beacon of safety, was completely dark. Joseph Moore,

a relief keeper, rowed ashore and climbed the stairs to the station. He called out for

his three colleagues, but only the wind answered him. Inside, the scene was freezing

and undisturbed. The kitchen table was set with a meal that had never been touched.

The clock on the wall had stopped ticking. The logbook revealed terrifying details

about a storm that had pummeled the island for days. Strange entries described tough,

veteran keepers crying and praying for their lives. The final entry on December 15th
